Hamrick homes have features too numerous to mention, but the overarching themes are comfort and health. Don’s homes are precisely engineered so that the temperature variance between any two rooms is no more than 2 degrees, so no more hot or cold rooms. The humidity is ideal and Don installs a sophisticated filtration and air exchange system that keep fresh air continually circulating into the house, but filters our nearly all the dust and contaminants. Remarkably, our home is virtually dust free – we dust once a month – and even then the dust is minuscule.

Don is also noted for constructing exceptionally energy efficient homes, and ours is no exception. We have approximately 3400 heated and cooled square feet and our average HVAC cost is less than $40 per month. We also installed solar panels with Don’s help, and as a result, in the spring and fall months, we actually produce more energy than is needed to operate the home.

Don is a thoroughly honest and reliable builder. He does whatever he says that he will do, and he does it well and on time. Even after we purchased our home, when Don had no further responsibilities, he continued to come over and fix any minor glitches, at no cost to us.

Additionally, it would be fitting to share some words about June DeLugas. This is really very simple – do whatever June recommends! Her taste and judgment are faultless. In almost all instances – colors, light fixtures, cabinets and more – we went by June’s advice, and we could not be more pleased.
